Cheyanne Aslept has been in and out of foster care for most of her life, at times taking on a parental role to her 5 younger siblings. Despite this, she was very involved at her high school, participating in varsity sports, and JROTC. She's now in college working towards her associates degree and working. Cheyanne was awarded the Leaders of Tomorrow award in 2024 for her leadership, positive impact on the community, and strength despite her hardships. She hopes to one day become a Police Officer.
